Al was on the original commitee that formed the Challenge 

and has been an intregal part in the formation of the Michigan Challenge.

It has been a great pleasure to work with Al  and we appreciate all the hard work from him,

his wife Marilyn and the Canton Softball teams over all these years.

He made the softball world a better place.

 The Challenge :

We want to establish a premier high school softball tournament. Our staff of  Dave Brubaker, Katie Belliotti , Ken Kroll & Al Land  along with

retired Coach Al White have directed other very successful events in the past and have the knowledge and experience to continually improve and upgrade the Challenge as it moves forward. The goal of the Challenge is to promote a quality tournament that will attract teams from all over the state. We want to create a competitive atmosphere for the players as well as a special experience for all in attendance. The best for the teams, players, spectators will be a priority. We believe that quality is achevied by  dedication and this staff will meet those expectations for all teams that participate. Hope you can join us and become a part of a new tradition.
